A number of young soccer players in the Australian national squad are tipped to sign contracts with new clubs before the start of the European season in late August 2014 or the domestic A-League in October. Mathew Leckie, who played in both matches by the Socceroos at the World Cup so far, is switching from FSV Frankfurt to another German second division team, FC Ingolstadt 04, for a transfer fee of $A1m. However heightened interest after his appearances in Brazil may trigger a release clause. Others potentially on the market are Jason Davidson, Bailey Wright, Mark Milligan and Adam Taggart
