A new survey by Roy Morgan Research shows that the Commonwealth Bank’s overall customer satisfaction rating has fallen by one per cent to 81.1 per cent. Meanwhile, Westpac’s rating has risen by 1.1 per cent to 81 per cent. The Commonwealth Bank has also fallen further in Roy Morgan’s measure of customers’ satisfaction with their main financial institution, ranking behind Westpac and the ANZ Bank. The Roy Morgan customer satisfaction data is used in determining Commonwealth Bank executives’ long-term incentives

Guardian Pharmacy guards top spot in customer satisfaction

A Roy Morgan Single Source survey has found that Guardian Pharmacy had a customer satisfaction rating of 91 per cent in the year to August 2014. Rival chemist chains Priceline Pharmacy and Chemist Warehouse both had customer satisfaction ratings of 90 per cent, ahead of Amcal and Chemmart. Guardian was also the winner of its category in the 2013 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards

Higher value Super members rate performance of industry funds ahead of retail funds

A Roy Morgan Single Source survey has found that 84.4 per cent of Australians aged 14+ who are members of industry superannuation funds and whose super balance exceeds $A700,000 are satisfied with the financial performance of their fund. Likewise, 76 per cent of retail fund members whose super balance tops $A700,000 are satisfied with their fund. In contrast, just 46.1 per cent of industry fund members and 51.8 per cent of retail fund members whose super balance is less than $A5,000 are satisfied with the financial performance of their fund

Satisfaction with financial performance of superannuation highest since GFC

A Roy Morgan Single Source survey has found that 55.7 per cent of Australians aged 14+ who are members of a superannuation fund were satisfied with the financial performance of their fund in the six months to July 2014. This is 6.9 per cent higher than in July 2013. Roy Morgan’s "Superannuation Satisfaction" report also shows that satisfaction with self-managed super funds was 77.9 per cent in July 2014, followed by industry funds (56.2 per cent) and retail funds (54.2 per cent)

Business satisfaction with Big Four banks highest in four years, Westpac the clear leader

A Roy Morgan Research Business Single Source survey has found that the overall satisfaction level of the business customers of Australia’s four major banks was 66.7 per cent in July 2014, which is 2.4 per cent higher than 12 months earlier. Westpac has the highest satisfaction rating at 71.4 per cent, ahead of National Australia Bank’s 67.1 per cent. However, smaller banks continue to outperform the "big four" in terms of business customer satisfaction, with Bendigo Bank recording a satisfaction rating of 82 per cent
