A Roy Morgan Single Source survey has found that 68 per cent of Australians aged 18+ drank alcohol in any given four-week period in the year to December 2014. The survey also shows that 66 per cent of Australians aged between 18 and 29 drink alcohol in any given four weeks, compared with 69 per cent of those aged 30+. Meanwhile, 48% of those aged 30+ drink wine in an average four weeks, compared with 32 per cent of under-30s, while 39 per cent of the latter age group drink beer and 36 per cent of over-30s do so
