Data from SMI shows that Australian newspapers’ share of advertising revenue booked by media agencies fell to 10.4 per cent in 2014, compared with 17.6 per cent in 2011. However, The Newspaper Works chairman Michael Miller is upbeat about the outlook for print media. He notes that advertisers have limited options in terms of print newspapers in Australia.
