2GB presenter Ross Greenwood spoke to Roy Morgan Research executive chairman Gary Morgan about the latest Morgan Poll on 30 May 2016. The poll shows that the federal election is too close to call, with the Australian Labor Party leading the Coalition 51 per cent to 49 per cent on a two-party preferred basis. The Morgan Poll also shows that the Nick Xenophon Team, which is led by independent senator Nick Xenophon, is polling better than the Australian Labor Party in South Australia. Gary Morgan also stressed the need for changes to the Fair Work regime in order to create jobs, and noted that the economy is the key issue in the 2016 election campaign.
