‘Show them your tits’: Fair Work upholds sacking of car manager

The full bench of the Fair Work Commission has dismissed an appeal by the former business manager of a Queensland car dealership. Phillip Parker had been dismissed by Cricks Volkswagen for sexual harassment after a female employee alleged that he had made inappropriate comments to her. Parker appealed against the original ruling, citing it as an example of "male inequality".

McLachlan set to sue Fairfax, ABC

Australian actor Craig McLachlan says his career has been "annihilated" by allegations that he sexually harassed and indecently assaulted three female cast members during a 2014 production of "The Rocky Horror Show". He continues to deny the allegations and intends to sue Fairfax Media and the ABC for defamation, after the allegations were reported in "The Age" and "The Sydney Morning Herald" and on the "7:30" current affairs show.

The Gordon Frost Organisation has advised that actor Craig McLachlan will withdraw from its current production of "The Rocky Horror Show" in the wake of sexual harassment and indecent assault allegations. Victorian police have launched an investigation into the allegations made by three female members of the 2014 production of the musical, while several other people are believed to have lodged complaints with police. Production of McLachlan’s popular TV series, "The Doctor Blake Mysteries", has also been put on hold pending the investigation into the allegations against him.

NAB faces $4.3m harassment suit

National Australia Bank has declined to comment on a pending claim for damages by a former executive of its JBWere wealth management business. Antonia Thornton alleges in her statement of claim that she was subject to discrimination and harassment after revealing in 2009 that she was pregnant. Thornton also alleges that she was effectively forced to resign, as the discrimination continued after she returned from maternity leave
