A report produced by Football Federation Australia (FFA) estimates that so-called "grassroots" soccer injects more than $A417m into the New South Wales (NSW) economy each year. FFA CEO David Gallop says this implies that grassroots soccer contributes more than $A1bn to the national economy each year.
