The Greater Western Sydney Giants posted an operating loss of $A529,315 for calendar 2014, while marketing and sponsorship revenue was nearly $A1.4m lower at $A7.8m. There was a modest rise in the Australian Football League team’s total revenue, to $A32.4m. The AFL provided the club with grants totalling $A20.16m during 2014, which is $A2m higher than previously. The Giants also received an interest-free loan of $A1.25m from the AFL
