Pollsters split on impact of ‘khaki’ vote after Coalition poll bump

The Australian Government’s primary vote has risen by 0.5 per cent to 38.5 per cent, according to a new Morgan Poll. The Australian Labor Party’s primary vote has risen by the same margin, to 37.5 per cent. Meanwhile, a Newspoll shows that the Coalition’s primary vote has risen to 41 per cent in the wake of police raids on terrorism suspects.
