A Fairfax/Ipsos poll, which was carried out from 26-28 February 2015, has found that support for the federal Coalition on a two-party preferred basis has risen to 49 per cent, compared with 51 per cent for the Australian Labor Party. The previous poll in January had Labor ahead 54 to 46 on a two-party preferred basis. The Coalition’s primary vote has increased from 38 per cent to 42 per cent, and Labor’s has fallen from 40 per cent to 36 per cent.
