Roy Morgan unveils Annual Customer Satisfaction Award winners across all categories

Roy Morgan has announced the winners of its annual Customer Satisfaction Awards for 2025. The awards recognise outstanding levels of customer satisfaction, as judged by more than 60,000 consumers via the Roy Morgan Single Source survey. The award categories cover sectors such as finance, automotive, retail, telecommunications and utilities. Of the 37 award winners this year, 23 are repeat winners backing up from victory a year ago; they include 11 with a perfect record of 12 monthly award wins for the year. In addition to the repeat winners, there were also five first-time winners and seven companies returning to the winner’s circle after missing out a year ago. Roy Morgan CEO Michele Levine says the Annual Customer Satisfaction Awards are the gold standard in identifying those companies and brands that stay ahead of the pack by knowing what their customers want and delivering it consistently.

Volvo wins the Roy Morgan Best of the Best Award for Customer Satisfaction

Volvo has won the Roy Morgan ‘Best of the Best’ Customer Satisfaction Award for the first time, with a customer satisfaction rating of 96.5%. The win for Volvo was built on victory as the Car Manufacturer of the Year with eight monthly wins, ahead of Private Health Insurer of the Year Police Health with a customer satisfaction rating of 96.1% and Liquor Store of the Year First Choice Liquor (95.3%). The ‘Best of the Best’ award goes to the company that achieves the highest customer satisfaction of all 37 winners in the Annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards. Volvo returned to the winner’s circle in 2025 after a 12-year absence; it finished ahead of previous winner Lexus and third placed GWM/Haval; Volvo last won the Car Manufacturer of the Year award in 2013.

Roy Morgan has presented the Roy Morgan Trusted Brand Awards for 2025 for Retail and Consumer Products industries. The broader Retail category (not including Supermarkets) was again topped by leading home hardware brand Bunnings, with a seventh consecutive victory as the ‘Most Trusted Retail Brand’ in Australia. Bunnings recorded a clean sweep at the awards, picking up the ‘Best of the Best’ Most Trusted Brand in Australia award for a second straight year. The ‘Most Trusted Brand in Department & Discount Department Stores’ award has been won by Kmart for the seventh year in a row. The winner of the ‘Most Trusted Consumer Products Brand’ was South Korea-based Samsung, also for a seventh straight year. Meanwhile, Apple is the ‘Most Trusted Technology Brand’ for a fifth consecutive year, and Aldi has retained the title of the ‘Most Trusted Supermarket Brand’ for 2025.

Nutrien Ag Solutions is Australia’s Most Trusted Agribusiness Brand for the first time

Roy Morgan has announced that Nutrien Ag Solutions is Australia’s Most Trusted Agribusiness Brand for 2025. This is the first win for Nutrien Ag Solutions, which also won the Agribusiness Products and Services category to cement the company as one of Australia’s leading agribusinesses. There were six repeat winners across the 8 categories in the annual awards, including Zoetis (Animal Health), Bendigo Bank (Agribusiness Banks), Norco (Farmers Co-op), GrainCorp (Grain Company), Meat & Livestock Australia (Industry Group) and Ridley (Stock Feed); they all backed up wins in last year’s Trusted Agribusiness Brand Awards. In addition, first-time winner Nufarm was awarded the Most Trusted Chemicals and Fertilisers brand. The Trusted Agribusiness Brand Awards are based on interviews with over 1,000 Australians farmers interviewed as part of Roy Morgan’s annual Farmer Agribusiness Brand Trust survey.

The 2024 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards were presented in April. A total of 12 awards in the banking and finance categories were awarded – included many companies which backed up on wins a year ago. There were two first time winners, two previous winners returning to the winner’s circle, and six companies continuing their winning streaks. P&N Bank won the Bank of the Year after collecting six monthly satisfaction awards and placed highly in the overall ‘Best of the Best’ Award with an average customer satisfaction rating of 91.6% – the second highest of any banking or finance brand. Major Bank of the Year was again won by the Commonwealth Bank after winning seven monthly satisfaction awards during 2024; this was the CBA’s 12th straight win as the Major Bank of the Year. Perth-based RAC has won the Major General Insurer of the Year award, with a perfect record of 12 monthly satisfaction awards and a sixth straight win in the category. UniSuper has won the Industry Super Fund of the Year award for a third straight year, with nine monthly satisfaction awards, and the overall Super Fund of the Year for a second straight year.

Lexus wins the Roy Morgan Best of the Best Award for Customer Satisfaction

Car maker Lexus has won the Roy Morgan ‘Best of the Best’ Customer Satisfaction Award for the third time, with a record high customer satisfaction rating of 98.2%. The win for Lexus was its third in the prestigious category after wins in 2017 and 2019. Last year’s winner Aussie Broadband and liquor store chain Dan Murphy’s have filled out the top three. The ‘Best of the Best’ award goes to the company that achieves the highest customer satisfaction of all 38 winners in the Annual Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Awards. Lexus won 11 monthly satisfaction awards during 2024 and won its sixth Roy Morgan Car Manufacturer of the Year Award, after previous wins in 2014-2017 and 2019.

Roy Morgan has once again announced that Elders is Australia’s Most Trusted Agribusiness Brand. The back-to-back win for Elders, which also took out the Agribusiness Products and Services category for a second straight year, cements the Adelaide-based company as one of Australia’s leading agribusinesses. There were several other repeat winners including Zoetis, Bendigo Bank and GrainCorp, which backed up their wins in last year’s inaugural Trusted Agribusiness Brand Awards. The awards are based on interviews with over 1,000 Australians farmers, who were interviewed as part of Roy Morgan’s Farmer Agribusiness Brand Trust survey.
